Provide a broad range of data engineering functions including data modeling data quality data profiling data acquisition and ingestion extract transform load (ETL) metadata enrichment and management data provenance and lineage and other specialized data management functions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Monitoring and supporting production data pipelines workflows and platform operations.

  • Troubleshooting Databricks jobs notebooks clusters and data processing issues.

  • Performing data quality investigations reconciliations and root cause analysis.

  • Managing production incidents defects and operational issues through resolution.

  • Supporting production deployments PAT validation release activities and post-deployment validation.

  • Partnering with DevOps Infrastructure and Production Support teams to ensure platform stability and service reliability.

  • Developing operational runbooks monitoring processes and support documentation.

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance resiliency and supportability.

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

  • Degree Postgraduate Degree or Technical Certificate in Data Management or related discipline (e.g. Computer Science Engineering) or equivalent practical experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Databricks / Spark

  • Azure Data Platform (ADLS ADF Azure SQL)

  • Python / Pyspark

  • CI/CD and DevOps practices

  • Dynatrace

  • Stakeholder communication
