The opportunity

We currently have career opportunities for consultants and senior consultants in our Canadian banking technology consulting team. Our team works to build a better world by transforming businesses through the potential of our people, technology, and innovation. We work collaboratively with some of the top executives in financial institutions of all sizes and scales, helping them create and realize the best solutions for the future of their business. Each project is different, so you’ll need to be able to excel in ambiguous situations and confidently navigate ever-changing circumstances. We’ll look to you to be a self-starter, have the ability to translate complex information into simple terms, and deliver long-term solutions with confidence. On this team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to imagine the future as well as create it, where you can craft ideas and implement them for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a senior consultant, you will work with your clients and collaborate with your team using data, and technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to deliver strategic technology-enabled transformations and major digital implementations.

Additionally, you will:

• Deliver client engagements, build client relationships, and support team development. This will include generating new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients
• Lead the development and execution of systems integration projects and roadmaps
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, ensuring clear and effective collaboration between business and technical teams.
• Applies AI in the flow of work with strong professional judgement – Integrates AI into day-to-day delivery while validating outputs, challenging assumptions, and maintaining accountability for quality
• Leads responsible and risk-aware use of AI – Demonstrates sound judgement on data use, confidentiality, and ethical considerations and reinforces this standard practice; escalates risks appropriately and models good practices for teams
• Drives structured and creative problem solving using AI – Uses AI to accelerate analysis, scenario generation, and insight development while maintaining clear linkage to business outcomes
• Builds repeatable ways of working with AI – Develops and shares prompts, approaches, and tool usage that improve team productivity and consistency in existing data libraries/catalogues

• delivering against financial targets in a service-oriented context is a plus.

You enjoy working with large teams in complex contexts, delivering strategic technology-enabled transformations and major digital implementations.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in conducting in-depth analysis of business requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions in the financial services industry
• Past projects experiences using agile methodology practices & driving iterative development and continuous improvement.
• 2-5+ years of industry experience
• Bilingual : French / English
• Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

Toronto:

Staff: $65,500 to $90,000

Senior: $90,500 to $120,000
