About the Opportunity

The Dayforce Product Development team is seeking a talented Software Developer to help build the next generation of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. This is an opportunity to create innovative software that helps organizations transform the way they manage and pay their workforce.

As a Software Developer on our Global Payroll team, your work will directly support one of the most critical moments in an employee's experience -getting paid accurately and on time. The solutions you help build will be used by organizations around the world to process payroll with confidence, accuracy, and efficiency. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and support, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

What You'll Get to Do

• Design and build scalable full-stack solutions that reduce manual effort, improve quality, and create a seamless implementation experience for customers.
• Leverage AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle to accelerate delivery, improve productivity, and enhance solution design.
• Develop across services, APIs, and modern web applications, integrating with operational, reporting, and end-user systems.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.
• Write, review, and maintain clean, high-quality code while contributing to code reviews, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
• Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability through sound design, testing, and problem-solving approaches.

Skills and Experience We Value

• Hands-on professional experience developing production software using C# and .NET.
• Full-stack development experience with modern web technologies. Experience with React and TypeScript is strongly preferred to help you ramp up quickly on our front-end applications.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, testing, and building reliable, maintainable software.
• Experience working within complex systems, including distributed services and multi-tier architectures, with the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and independently deliver well-defined features from design through implementation.
• Demonstrated fluency in using AI tools to enhance productivity throughout the software development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, testing, and solution design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and team success in an Agile environment.
