Compensation & Job Evaluation
- Support the administration of compensation programs salary structures and pay practices to ensure internal equity compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide compensation guidance to leaders and HR stakeholders on salary administration position classification organizational changes and related matters.
- Participate in job evaluation activities market reviews compensation planning and program enhancement initiatives.
Benefits & Retirement Administration
- Administer employee benefits and retirement programs serving as a key resource for complex inquiries and escalations.
- Coordinate benefits disability retirement and pension-related processes with employees leaders Payroll benefit providers and external partners.
- Support benefits renewals audits program enhancements employee communications and education initiatives to promote a positive employee experience.
Reporting Analytics & HR Systems
- Develop and maintain compensation benefits workforce and HR metrics reporting to support business decisions.
- Analyze data identify trends and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct audits and data quality reviews to ensure the accuracy integrity and compliance of HR information.
Market Analysis Compliance & Program Governance
- Conduct market research and participate in compensation and benefits surveys to support competitive and sustainable programs.
- Monitor legislative and industry developments ensuring compliance with applicable laws regulations and organizational policies.
- Support the development implementation and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits policies programs and practices.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3 5 years progressive experience in compensation and benefit administration
Completed university degree in Business Human Resources or related. Specialist certification as compensation professional an asset
Strong knowledge and familiarity with standards and practices for provincial and federal legislation with respect to compensation (Pay Equity Act Ontario Employment Standards Act Broader Public Sector Compensation requirements)
Experience in compensation program administration (i.e. variable/incentive pay structures job evaluation). Experience with Hay System an asset
Solid understanding of unionized environments (preferably healthcare) including administration of multiple Collective Agreements
Strong analytical skills; ability to conduct research and condense complex information into succinct reports including actionable recommendations
Advanced capability in HRIS applications with strong Excel and other analytical tool skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Salary Range: $78630 - $98262 annually
