Vice President, Finance About the Company Accomplished aluminum products company Industry Mining & Metals Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President, Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the finance and accounting functions of its multi-site manufacturing enterprise. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, providing both strategic and day-to-day financial leadership in a fast-paced industrial environment. This includes overseeing the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and the development of KPIs that link financial performance with operations. The role also involves mentoring the finance and accounting team, managing relationships with external partners, and championing operational excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, be adept at translating financial data into actionable insights, and be comfortable working with all levels of the organization. Applicants for the Vice President, Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, or business administration, combined with a CPA or equivalent professional designation. A minimum of 15 years of progressive, hands-on financial leadership experience is required, with a preference for those who have worked within a multi-generational, owner-operated enterprise. The role demands a leader with a strong technical background, good business sense, and the ability to drive results.
