Legal Risk and Compliance consultants work with Protivitis clients who are typically among the worlds leading companies. As a consultant you collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality client-focused solutions for complex business problems these organizations face. Legal Risk and Compliance consultants will experience a variety of projects. Each project experience is designed to fuel your curiosity build capability drive meaningful impact and prepare you for the next career level. Consultants learn alongside experienced leaders and advisors to develop a strong understanding of business processes and build technical skills in general risk areas. Consultants compile and analyze data document findings and communicate insights that contribute impactfully to client engagements. Through interaction with client and project team personnel consultants develop professional relationships that are grounded in trust supporting exceptional client service. A successful consultant manages time and priorities effectively takes ownership of assignments and contributes impactfully to collective team results.

With each project you receive hands-on training in a supportive high-performance environment and interact with leaders across our practice. Talent Managers will assign specific project experiences that support career growth your skills and the needs of the business. Legal Risk and Compliance consultants develop knowledge in core business processes within the financial services technology and healthcare industries. Consultants will work within internal control and risk frameworks as well as regulatory and compliance methodologies.

Legal Risk and Compliance consultants will help develop key deliverables including process flows work programs reports and control summaries. Consultants will review transactions to provide process improvement recommendations and address legal risk and compliance challenges as needed. Legal Risk and Compliance consultants will work within various segments including but not limited to financial crime and anti-money laundering risk management credit services regulatory compliance and consumer protection analytics and legal consulting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree: Bachelors Masters or Juris Doctor degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting Applied Math Criminal Justice Data Analytics Economics Finance Law and Policy Legal Studies Management Management Information Systems Mathematics Pre-Law Political Science and Statistics)
• Visa Status: All applicants applying for U.S. job openings need authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
• Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (i.e. Microsoft Copilot GenAI etc.)
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries
• Technical proficiency aligning to assigned capability area

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.
