Job description
Shape financial strategies as Tricon's Vice President, Corporate Controller in Toronto, with a hybrid work model. Oversee accounting operations, lead a dynamic team, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS. In this senior leadership position, you will guide the accounting team, manage the monthly and annual reporting cycles, and uphold internal controls. Collaboration with the CAO and finance leadership is key to supporting operational excellence and scalable growth across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all core accounting operations and general ledger processes • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting cycles • Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting • Assist with annual audit processes and investor reporting Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field • 12-15+ years in finance and accounting, including 5+ years in leadership • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS • Experience with consolidation and financial reporting systems • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Elevate Tricon’s accounting excellence through your leadership, financial expertise, and commitment to continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
