Job description
Shape investment oversight for Indigenous Trusts at CIBC. This senior role involves strategic leadership in investment management and oversight services, ensuring fiduciary excellence and alignment with trust documents. As the Director of Investment Management and Oversight at CIBC's Private Wealth Management unit, you will lead Indigenous Trust investment activities. Collaborate closely with relationship managers and internal teams to conduct client due diligence and ensure the implementation of investment policies. Your expertise will enhance CIBC's commitment to meeting the unique needs of Indigenous Trust clients. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee Indigenous Trust investment oversight activities • Conduct comprehensive quarterly account reviews • Collaborate on developing governing investment policies • Monitor and report on client investment performance • Provide guidance on investment operations and compliance Requirements: • Minimum 10+ years in investment management • CFA designation and degree in Finance or Economics • Strong understanding of trust structures and compliance • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel • Experience engaging with Indigenous communities is an asset Lead strategic investment oversight, ensuring compliance, relationship building, and expert guidance in CIBC's commitment to its Indigenous Trust clients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
