Job description
Elevate workplace safety with Atlantic Packaging as the Director of Health & Safety in Scarborough, Ontario. Oversee health policies across plants, driving compliance and culture. In this senior leadership role, you will develop, communicate, and implement comprehensive health and safety strategies within the organization. With over 10 years of experience in a unionized manufacturing setting, your expertise will help ensure compliance with regional safety regulations, including Ontario's OHSA and US OSHA standards. This role requires a hands-on operational style and an ability to manage a diverse team of health and safety professionals. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement health and safety strategies • Manage safety-related legal proceedings and policies • Conduct safety audits and identify hazards • Lead investigations for incident management • Train and develop a high-performing safety team Requirements: • Minimum 10 years in health and safety leadership • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields • Recognition through relevant certifications (CRSP/CSP preferred) • Bilingualism in French and English is preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety software Bring your extensive health and safety expertise to Atlantic Packaging and make a significant impact on employee well-being. #J-18808-Ljbffr
