Job description
Join Macaulay Centres for Children as a Casual After School Program Coordinator, where you'll inspire school-age children through educational and fun activities. Ensure a safe, engaging space for kids aged 4-12. In this role, you will lead program initiatives, foster learning through play, and support children's homework needs. You'll work collaboratively with staff, communicate effectively with families, and contribute positively to children's development in a well-structured program environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead after school programs for children ages 4-12 • Plan safe and engaging activities daily • Assist with academic tasks in individual and group settings • Implement a weekly schedule of varied programs • Regularly update parents and caregivers on children's progress Requirements: • Post-secondary education in a relevant field • At least 2 years’ experience in child-focused environments • Strong communication abilities • Knowledge of conflict resolution practices • Current Standard first aid and CPR Level C certification Make a difference in children's lives with Macaulay Centres for Children. #J-18808-Ljbffr
