Role: Production Support Analyst
Toronto – 4 Days WFO
We are seeking a Production Support Analyst to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will provide critical technical support for production environments, ensuring system stability, operational excellence, and compliance with organizational standards. This role requires strong technical expertise across multiple platforms and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of service quality.
· Monitor and maintain production systems across Unix/Linux, Windows, Mainframe, and containerized environments.
· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time, minimizing system downtime.
· Support and manage Stonebranch workflow automation and OpenShift containerized applications.
· Execute and maintain SQL queries and perform database operations.
· Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell Scripting and Python.
· Respond to and resolve compliance and IT risk-related incidents.
· Document production issues, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
· Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to optimize system performance.
· Participate in an on-call rotation to provide production support.
· Strong experience with Unix/Linux Administration, including system management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
· Experience in Windows Server administration and support.
· Hands-on expertise with Stonebranch workflow orchestration.
· Experience deploying and managing applications on OpenShift.
· Knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language) and mainframe operations.
· Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and database management.
· Experience developing automation solutions using Shell Scripting and Python.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Understanding of IT risk management frameworks and compliance requirements.
· Experience handling compliance and audit-related production support activities.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
· Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills.
· Customer-focused approach to production support.
· High attention to detail.
· Proactive mindset toward compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
· 8+ years of experience in Production/Application Support (preferred).
· Relevant certifications in Unix/Linux, Windows, Cloud Platforms, or related technologies are desirable.
· Experience supporting applications in Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated industries is an added advantage.
