That’s why we need a seasoned and credible leader to serve as our next Vice-President, Academic. Someone who has the experience of delivering in a constrained environment. Someone who balances the need for change with respect for people and culture.
Seneca has long delivered the breadth, quality and responsiveness imbedded in the polytechnic model. With career-focused three and four-year degrees, new professional master’s programs, a deep bench of diplomas, certificates and microcredentials, system leadership in AI inside and outside the classroom and a distinctive commitment to service innovation, Seneca is ambitious and entrepreneurial.
Reporting to the President and as a member of the senior executive, the Vice-President, Academic provides leadership and strategic direction to Seneca’s academic, enrolment and applied research teams. Working collaboratively across the institution, the VPA relentlessly focuses on student success, academic quality and the Seneca mission of providing a great polytechnic education to prepare our graduates for great careers.
A master’s degree is required.
A PhD is preferred.
