The Branch DevOps Team is responsible for transforming how Branch Technology solutions are built, tested, and delivered. The team is dedicated to modernizing DevOps processes by adopting best-in-breed tools and cloud-native practices, enabling application teams to deliver value faster and more reliably.As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in the Delivery Modernization Project through designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines by leveraging GitHub Actions and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Ansible, along with managing cloud solutions in OpenShift. We are looking for an excellent team player who is self-driven and passionate about the quality of their work. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of DevOps at one of Canada's leading financial institutions.What will you doDevelop CI/CD pipelines using Helios (Client's Developer Platform) in GitHub Actions.Drive the large-scale migration from UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) to Ansible for application deployments for Windows-based workloads.Work with cross-functional teams (SRE, Windows-Ops, QE, Helios and DevOps Support) to troubleshoot and remediate pipeline issues.Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot) to accelerate automation and pipeline development, and improve overall code quality.Create documentation for infrastructure, deployments, and other DevOps-related processes and procedures.Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth pre-production and production deployments.Maintenance of Windows servers; tool installation, configuration and removal of end-of-life software.Must Have4+ years of DevOps and automation experience with strong technical expertise.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Expertise in infrastructure-as-code and configuration management, particularly Ansible.Advanced scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Bash, Python or other similar languages.In-depth knowledge of tools such as GitHub Actions and UrbanCode Deploy.Proficiency with Windows server environments.Knowledge of build tools like Dotnet Framework and Maven.Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Nice to haveHands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Vault, Dynatrace, Elastic, Splunk.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or other similar platforms.Experience with GitOps and an understanding of GitFlow methodology.Knowledge of shift-left security practices and associated tools like SonarQube, Snyk, Bright, and Aqua.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 70,000 to 90,000Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
