GTM Lead, Strategic Initiatives (Hybrid)
Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid Position, in office 2 days per week)
OpenTable is seeking a GTM Lead, Strategic Initiatives to drive innovation and growth for the platform. You will focus on high‑impact, ad hoc strategic initiatives—launching strategic partnerships, pilot programs, and refining GTM motions for international growth.

In this role, you will:
- Drive Competitive Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape, track competitor product updates, and synthesize business strategies to keep OpenTable ahead.
- Empower the Field: Translate market insights into actionable sales enablement assets and provide high‑touch support on complex deals.
- Deliver Actionable Insights: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to provide recommendations to Product, Sales, and Executive leadership.
- Tell the Story: Distill complex data sets and market research into compelling internal presentations for company‑wide briefings and Sales Kickoffs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Strategy, or Management Consulting, preferably within B2B SaaS or Hospitality tech.
- Analytical Storyteller: Comfortable with complex data and able to translate numbers into a clear, strategic narrative for executives.
- Agile & Adaptable: Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and switch between deep‑dive research and rapid‑response support.
- Strategic & Tactical: Capable of high‑level market positioning and hands‑on creation of battle cards or sales decks.
- Curious & Technical: Interest in software products and SaaS economics, with ability to extract insights from financial and market data.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to deliver compelling presentations to leadership, sales teams, and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of two‑sided marketplaces or the restaurant industry.
- Experience in pricing research or quantitative market research.

Additional Information
The best connections happen face‑to‑face, and OpenTable operates a hybrid workplace model. This role expects in‑office collaboration two days per week, with flexibility for asynchronous and cross‑time‑zone work as needed.
The expected compensation range for this position based in Toronto, Canada, is CAD 82,000–CAD 90,000. Compensation is determined by factors including market data, location, and experience. This role is eligible for an annual bonus.
