About The Role

The Emerging Tech Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting the adoption of new and evolving technologies that enhance McCain’s AI capabilities and accelerate use‑case delivery. This role focuses on researching emerging trends across AI technologies, conducting structured evaluations, supporting pilots, and translating innovative concepts into scalable, value‑driven solutions within McCain’s AI ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitor and research emerging technologies across AI, agentic systems, and the McCain technology stack
• Evaluate business impact, technical fit, risk, and readiness of new tools and models
• Develop recommendations for pilots, proofs of concept, and broader adoption
• Support the design and execution of technology pilots and structured experiments
• Partner with AI Platform & Engineering teams to transition successful pilots into deployment pathways
• Document findings, lessons learned, and reusable assessment frameworksCollaborate with cross‑functional teams including AI Platform & Engineering, Knowledge Engineering, and business stakeholders
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights
• Identify risks related to security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI
• Create and share insights, trends, and best practices across Digital Technology

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in technology, innovation, or digital transformation roles
• Strong knowledge of emerging AI technologies, models, and agentic platforms
• Experience supporting pilots, evaluations, or early‑stage technology implementations
• Ability to assess technical concepts and communicate them in business‑friendly terms
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is a plus

About The Team

This role sits within the AI function and reports to the AI Deployment & Enablement Lead. The Emerging Tech Analyst partners closely with AI Platform & Engineering, Forward Deployment Engineers, Knowledge Engineering, and Use Case Governance & Operations teams. It is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on collaboration, innovation, and enabling enterprise AI adoption.

Compensation Package

$67,200.00 - $89,600.00 CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility. The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
