Job description
Shape the future of communication at the Ontario Cannabis Store as Director of Brand and Communications. Lead strategies that boost public image and ensure stakeholder trust in this full-time position. The Director of Brand and Communications at OCS offers a pivotal opportunity to influence perception and engagement with the public regarding cannabis use. Reporting directly to the Vice President, you’ll align communication efforts with the organization’s values and strategic plan, while providing guidance on reputation management and crisis situations. Your strategic leadership will support innovative messaging to advance OCS's objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Direct brand and communication strategies for OCS • Act as primary spokesperson for crisis and public relations • Oversee storytelling, sponsorships, and internal communications • Lead social responsibility initiatives and partnerships • Enhance integration of messaging across all platforms Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, Master’s preferred • 7+ years in a leadership role in Communications • Proven experience in public sector communications • Outstanding communication and strategic planning skills • Background in advertising agencies a plus Make a meaningful impact on public perception and stakeholder confidence with your expertise in communications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
