Registered Nurse Perioperative Nursing Resource Team

Responsible for the planning executing directing and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care given to the surgical patient the successful candidate will function within the multidisciplinary team and rotate through all surgical specialties (orthopedics including total joints general gynecology vascular urology otolaryngology cysto and ophthalmology) working a variety of shifts including on call.

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
• Perioperative Certification required
• Minimum three years OR experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player ability to utilize critical thinking skills positive caring attitude flexible and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required.

Additional Information :

Hours: Mon - Sun Various rotating 7.5 hour shifts (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary: $41.15 to $58.98 per hour
