The Indigenous Pathways Program is a paid, full‑time, 9‑month learning and development opportunity designed to support First Nations, Inuit, or Métis individuals in honing their professional skills at CBC. The program provides training within an all‑Indigenous cohort, personalized career development, and hands‑on work experience. No prior journalism or media production education or job experience is required to apply. The current program runs from October 2026 through June 2027. One candidate will be selected to work with each of this year’s host teams. This position is based in Toronto and will work within the CBC Gem Social team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in television, film and digital storytelling on social media to work in support of a wide range of content available on CBC’s streaming service. This is a full‑time role utilizing a hybrid work model, allowing for both home and in‑office collaboration as required. Please note that relocation costs are not covered.
