Job description
Randstad is looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate / Shipping Coordinator in Oakville, Ontario. In this essential role, you will be responsible for managing temperature-sensitive shipments that directly impact patient care. Position: Warehouse Associate / Shipping Coordinator
Location: Oakville, ON
Shift: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri
Pay: $21/hr

Responsibilities
• Verify, scan, and pack temperature-controlled pharmaceutical shipments with various postal and freight carriers.
• Receive incoming supply shipments, verify packing slips, and safely put away stock in designated storage locations.
• Package medications carefully using dry ice, cold packs, and specialized insulated containers based on strict temperature requirements.
• Learn and apply specific shipping and handling rules for a wide variety of medical products.
• Utilize a manual pallet jack to safely move inventory, pallets, and supplies throughout the warehouse floor.
• Maintain a pristine, organized, and compliant work area to ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical safety.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping deadlines and carrier pickup schedules.


Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate, Shipping Coordinator, Warehouse Clerk, or in a similar material handling role.
• Must be comfortably and safely able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform physical labour, including standing, bending, walking, and lifting, throughout the shift.
• Experience operating a manual pallet jack safely and efficiently.
