Reporting and Operations Analyst/Senior Analyst (North America)

Team Overview:

The Risk Enhanced Analytics (Risk EA) team is responsible for supporting Ratings Risk by performing data analysis carrying out ad hoc project initiatives and overseeing operations and reporting. Risk EA serves as a central resource for the Ratings Risk teams in their data and reporting needs.

Risk EAs broad scope includes operational duties internal & regulatory reporting data retrieval & analysis automation & product development system development management & support and infrastructure management.

Risk EA is responsible for the full data lifecycle from data retrieval and analysis through to the automation and development of reporting solutions and web-based tools that deliver insights to stakeholders across Ratings Risk. The team ensures data quality accessibility and efficiency across the group.

The Risk Enhanced Analytics team seeks a qualified candidate primarily responsible for:

• Fulfilling internal and external reporting requirements including regulatory inquiries
• Supporting and enhancing the teams operations including automation initiatives
• Retrieving processing and analyzing data
• Managing in-house project initiatives

The position involves a substantial focus on writing and reporting. Strong writing skills attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively are essential for success.

Job Requirements:

Youll be a good match for the position if you have:

• A bachelors degree in a related field such as Pre-law English History Communications Computer Science Information Systems Mathematics or Finance
• 0-4 years of relevant work experience
• An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong reading comprehension
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
• Solid project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Strong self-management
• Proficiency in Excel

Additional pluses for the position include:

• Familiarity with databases and querying (e.g. Oracle MySQL SQL)
• Programming knowledge (e.g. VBA Python)
• Previous experience in compliance operations or risk management

FOR NEW YORK & CHICAGO ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between (Analyst) $80000 and $90000 per year / (Senior Analyst) $90000 and $100000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education training experience past performance and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitchs total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings discretionary bonuses long-term incentives and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
