What will your typical day look like?

The Planning, Performance, & Reporting (PP&R) Director will lead end-to-end financial reporting and integrated investments for Global Consulting Services.

The Director will oversee a streamlined suite of reports, dashboards, and analytical tools and reporting team to

(1) provide insights on network performance to Consulting Services leaders across Global and the Deloitte network about the performance of the business and its trajectory supported with data visualizations;

(2) oversee network investments and strategic priorities with levers on financial and operational indicators, and

(3) facilitate long-term planning through modeling and sensitivity analyses.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as trusted business advisor and reporting subject matter expert to Global and member firm network leaders, providing guidance on financials, creating financial models, sensitivity analyses, proposing recommendations, and collaborating across the business to drive consistency of numbers and narrative.
  • Deliver global delivery network reporting for Consulting Services monthly, identifying opportunities to streamline and integrate with the DTTL SWIFT-based GDN dashboard.
  • Lead a team of practitioners to execute projects, support ad hoc requests and deliver high-quality reports and support to stakeholders across the Global organization and member firm network
  • Drive execution of reporting dashboards enhancements and conversion to Power BI
  • Accelerate automation, standardization, and AI transformation of key financial and operational processes
  • Maintain a high level of quality controls to preserve the integrity and reputation of reports
  • Coordinate long-term plan (LTP) activities, including financial modelling, and facilitating the consistency of assumptions and market data across the network.
  • Collaborate with clients, market and global platform teams to (1) support the finance & accounting processes of the program, annual planning and forecasting, and (2) track the impact of investments on the network, through coverage and ROI
  • Provide inputs into annual investment planning, collaborating with a wide business stakeholder group
  • Support the agenda of the network’s member firm COO’s to support growth and transformation initiatives as well as bets practices.
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI into COO Pillar processes to improve speed and efficiency, and to enhance insights
  • Engage stakeholders across groups to provide perspectives on key global finance initiatives.
  • Foster a high‑trust, collaborative team culture anchored in clarity, accountability, responsiveness, and shared purpose
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal clients and colleagues across the Deloitte Global and Member Firm network

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or Computer Science preferred. Advanced degree preferred but not required.

Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience. Experience serving clients for the development of data visualization preferred.

Skills:

  • Proven leadership of cross‑functional or distributed teams
  • Able to build business relationships and influence leaders and peers in a large, complex global organization, often without the benefit of formal authority
  • Able to think strategically, develop a point of view, and raise questions. Exhibits consistent intellectual curiosity and engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear and concise messages across stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with, training, and/or managing professionals effectively
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Able to identify insights, patterns, and trends from financial performance data and associated metrics
  • Experience with financial reporting and accounting; knowledge of P&L and profitability drivers
  • Advanced Excel knowledge for financial analysis and financial modeling (i.e., expert knowledge of formulas, and ability to build charts to summarize data and identify trends in a clear and thought-provoking way)
  • Advanced knowledge of systems used for financial reporting
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization and dashboard software

Other Qualifications:

  • Client-service mindset and a desire to take on dynamic, challenging projects
  • Capable of responding quickly to high priority deadlines and ability to easily adapt to a change in direction
  • Able to create structure when solving ambiguous problems

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $260,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
