Job description
Take on the impactful role of Early Resolution Officer with Ombudsman Ontario, focusing on children's services. Manage and resolve complaints while gaining valuable experience in public administration. As a member of the Early Resolutions team, you will be pivotal in addressing complaints from children and youth. Your role entails conducting thorough investigations, assessing complaints, and developing strategies for resolution or escalation. Your ability to communicate effectively with distressed individuals will be essential in fostering trust and understanding. Key Responsibilities: • Collect and assess complaints from various sources • Analyze issues through an objective lens • Prioritize complaints and recommend resolutions • Draft case summaries for internal and external communications • Conduct trend analyses to improve child services Requirements: • University degree in relevant areas such as public administration • At least 2 years' experience in complaints or investigations • Understanding of youth justice and aid systems • Strong analytical and communication skills • Self-starter with minimal supervision Contribute to improving fairness in Ontario’s public sector through this vital role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
