Summary of Duties
Responsible for providing complete and accurate documentation for every in/out patient as well as informing newly admitted patients of regulations and procedures; and allocating beds for incoming patients. Responsible for creating Pre-Admission accounts Same Day Surgery accounts and Recurring accounts as well as processing all patient admissions in patient care system. Confirming arrival and surgery times for In-patients and answering inquiries by telephone. Monitoring Patient flow through different departments for pre-testing clinics. Processing of Midnight census and departmental filing duties. Processing and compiling charts for patient admissions. Performs duties as required for the OR Booking Desk.
