Position Overview:

Reporting to theDirectorFinancial Reporting you will work cross functionally with Finance Department team membersto assist inthe preparation ofcertainaccountingentries including lease accountingandthequarterly and annual externalFinancial Statements Managements Discussion and Analysis(MD&A)and securities filingsin Canada and the United States.

What Youll Do:

• Assistin the preparation ofthequarterly and annual external Financial Statements MD&A and securities filings in Canada and the United States.Tasks include:
• Uploading internal Financial Statements and supporting schedules into the WorkivaWdeskfinancial reporting platform
• Prepare note disclosures and certain supporting schedules
• Support the preparation of the MD&A
• Review XBRL tagging of Annual Financial Statements in WorkivaWdeskplatform
• Assistinquarterly reviews andannual year-end auditof financial statements
• Responsible forlease accountingand analysisproviding supportforCanada Gooses global lease portfolio
• Assistin the preparation of monthly Financial Statementsand certain accounting entries and account reconciliations including the following areas:
• Lease accounting
• Fixed Assets
• Long-term debt
• Derivatives and hedge accounting
• Execute internal controls with respect to financial policiesprocessesand procedures
• Prepare financialand technicalanalysisforIFRS accounting policy position papers as requested
• Contribute to team effort by completingfinancial reportingtasks asneeded

Lets Talk About You:

• University degree in Business/Accounting
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designationis in progresscompleted is an asset
• 4 years ofaccountingexperience
• Experience infinancialanalysisor data analytics
• Experience in the Consumer Products industry retail or manufacturing a definite asset
• Experience working in publicly traded companieslisted in Canada and the United States or experience working in private companies with regimented reporting requirements
• Working within an internal control reporting frameworkpreferred preferably COSO
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS including IFRS 16 is preferred

Salary Range:

$73000.00 - $102000.00 / year
