At PwC our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions divestitures and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

Those in Real Assets at PwC advise public and private sector clients in procuring developing financing and executing projects in the energy infrastructure and mining sectors. Your work will demonstrate and build on strong commercial and financial acumen sectoral expertise project management skills and the ability to coordinate various stakeholders and resources.

As aReal Assets Senior Associateyoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve business issues deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assistin lead M&A advisory roles for buy-side and sell-side mandates of infrastructure assets involving valuationmarketingand deal execution

• Participate in complexproject developments financings and transactions in theenergy infrastructureandminingsectors

• Participate in developing financial models andassistin complex data analysis and modeling including preparing visual representations of data

• Conduct feasibility studiesfinancialandcommercial analysis and risk assessments forprojects and companies

• Perform independent validation of project data

• Participate in the development of project management processesand in thedevelopment implementation and monitoring of project controls

• Participate in writing reports procurement documentsand/orinformation memorandums

• Undertake market research and benchmarking exercises as directed

• Assistindeveloping business development opportunities for the real assets practice andthe preparation of pitch decks marketingmaterialsand proposals

• Assistin developing work plans indicativeschedulesand budget estimates

• Assistin developing AI/GenAIuse case demo and go to market materials for priority sectors

Experiences and skillsyoulluse to solve

• Previousexperience(includinginternships)working in either project finance/M&A economic or policyanalysisorwithin an engineering consulting/project management firm would be an asset

• An interest in pursuing a professional designation in finance (CFA CBV) or in project management (PMP PQS) would be an asset

• Keen desire and interest toacquirefinancial modeling skills

• Ability to work on multipleand diverseprojects and on projects with tight deadlines

• Ability to use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends and problem-solve

• Familiarity withAI/GenAI/AgenticAI use case development would be an asset

• Demonstratedability to learn/problem solve a curious mind-set and openness to working in sometimes highly ambiguous situations would be an asset

• This roledoesntsupport completion of the Canadian CPA designation.

The salary range for this position is $58400 - $97500. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary is determined by your skills experience qualifications and work addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
