Role Overview
We areseekinga proactive detail-oriented and commercially mindedInternal Communications Managerto support our new Commercial Communications function. Reporting to the Senior Director Commercial Communications this role will focus on delivering clear consistent and engaging internal communications forThomson Reuters big 3business segments: Tax Audit & Accounting Professionals Legal and Corporates.
You will help colleagues understand business priorities segment strategies commercial progress customer impact product moments and leadership messages. Working closely with partners acrossthe segment teams and supporting partners frommarketingandproductalongside thebroader communications team you will help translate complex business topics into clear and compelling communications for internal audiences.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable drafting planning coordinating and advising. You will play an important part in standardizing internal communications across thebusinesssegments through repeatable processes templates playbooks editorial planning andappropriate useof AI-enabled tools.
The ideal candidate will bring strong writing skills good judgment stakeholder management experience and a strong understanding of how internal communications can support colleague engagementand advocacy strategic alignment and business performance in a fast-moving matrixed environment.

Deliverinternalcommunications forbusiness segments:Lead the planning and delivery of internal communications across business segment teams helping colleagues stay informed engaged and aligned with commercial priorities.
Support theCommercial Communicationsnarrative:Help activate andmaintaina consistent internal narrative acrossbusinesssegments.You will adapt approved messaging for employee audiences and ensure internal communications consistently reflect segment priorities technology strategy customer value and business progress.
Partner withseniorleaders andstakeholders:Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business and provide practical communications support working closely withsegment leadership teams and coachingthem on communicatingeffectively with their teams.
Drivecolleagueengagement andalignment:Create communications that help colleagues understand the business direction and their role in delivering it.You will develop content that connects segment strategy to colleague priorities with communicationsreinforcing Thomson Reuterscompany values and culture.
Supportcustomerstorytellinginternally:Work withkey business stakeholdersto bring customer and product stories to life internally.
Standardizeinternalcommunicationsprocesses:Help build a consistent and efficient internal communications model acrosstheCommercialCommunicationsfunction. You will standardize the service offering andidentifyopportunities to simplify templatize or automate repeatable work making use of AI tools.
About You
You are a strong fit for the role ofInternal Communications Manager Commercial Communicationsif your background includes:
5 years experience in internal communications corporate communications employee communications or business communications ideally in a global technology-driven SaaS B2B or professional services environment.
Strong writing editing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex business and technology topics.
Experience supporting senior leaders or business stakeholders with communications planning and content development.
Understanding of how internal communications can support business strategy colleague engagement culture and change.
Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with colleagues across functions levels geographies and time zones.
High attention to detail and strong judgment especially when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Experience developing communications plans editorial calendars FAQs manager toolkits leader notes intranet content and town hall materials.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For Ontario Canada the base compensation range for this role is $108000 CAD - $158000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
