Job description
We are hiring a Bilingual Representative Insurance to join our team!Reporting To: Manager Residential Insurance Full-Time/Part- Time: Full-time Posting Date: July 8 2026Closing Date: July 24 2026Hours of Work: 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Grade: Office Location: 6.5Hybrid Downtown Toronto Great location! Steps away from the main public transit station What we offer: Highly competitive compensation package which includes base salary bonus benefits and career advancement opportunities! *Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employment The Opportunity:The Bilingual Representative Insurance is responsible for keeping the property insurance records up to date for all residential customers for monitoring insurance claims and maintaining First Nationals force placed insurance policy. Demonstrate a keen understanding of First Nationals culture services as well as the mortgage industry in general to understand the unique needs for each you will contribute:Update cancellationsFollow up on insurance policies Answer customer inquiries in a timely manner Monitor insurance claims while working with customers and insurance adjustors Maintain force placed policy and report to insurance broker each month Complete special projects as assigned by ManagementThe experience you need:Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience required Proficient in MS Office applications specifically Outlook Word and Excel Strong communication skills verbal and writtenin both French and English Confident and assertive phone manner Excellent customer service skills Proven ability to accurately process high volumes of work Proven organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task Bilingual in French is an assetWorking Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:Office environmentPeriods of high volume with tight timelinesLong periods of stationary position/sittingProlonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)Long periods of time in viewing a computer screenMulti-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer join First NationalCompetitive CompensationComprehensive benefits program (i.e. Health Spending Account Maternity and Parental Leave Top Up)Hybrid working environmentExtensive training programs to set our employees up for successModern office environment conducive to collaborationSupportive teamwork cultureOpportunities to give back to the communities and work through events focused on a variety of charitiesOngoing social events throughout the yearThe team youll join: Founded in 1988 First National is one of Canadas largest non-bank lenders.
