ServiceNow SAM Pro Developer - ServiceNow SAM Pro Software Asset Management Flexera & ITAM

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SAM Pro Developer to design implement and optimize Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
The role focuses on license compliance optimization automation and integration with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities: Implement and manage ServiceNow SAM Pro modules (Publisher Packs Normalization Reconciliation License Workbench).
Configure and customize software models entitlements and licensing rules.
Manage software normalization and discovery data integration (Discovery SCCM Intune etc.).
Develop and maintain custom scripts workflows and automation for SAM processes.
Perform license compliance analysis and optimization (e.g. Microsoft Oracle Adobe).
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST/SOAP APIs.
Support software audits and ensure compliance with vendor licensing terms.
Create dashboards and reports for license usage compliance position and cost optimization.
Collaborate with ITAM procurement and infrastructure teams.
Troubleshoot and enhance SAM performance and data accuracy.
Required Skills & Experience: 8 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
Strong hands-on experience with SAM Pro (Software Asset Management Professional).
Knowledge of software licensing models (per user per device subscription SaaS).
Experience with Discovery and CMDB integration.
Proficiency in JavaScript Glide scripting Business Rules Script Includes.
Experience with data normalization and reconciliation.
Understanding of ITAM ITSM and ITIL processes.
Experience with integration technologies (REST APIs MID Server).
ServiceNow Certifications Preferred: CSA (Certified System Administrator).
CIS-SAM (Certified Implementation Specialist SAM).
Additional Skills: Experience with HAM Pro (Hardware Asset Management).
Knowledge of cloud SaaS license management (O365 Salesforce etc.).
Experience in BFSI or regulated environments.
Good to have RBC experience.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good stakeholder communication (especially with procurement and audit teams).
Attention to detail in compliance and licensing.
Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
