What will your typical day look like?
We're looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and support scalable applications, platform services,
and shared engineering capabilities that enable delivery teams across the organization.
This is a hands-on development role focused on delivering high-quality solutions while contributing to
reusable platforms, automation, developer productivity, and engineering standards. The ideal candidate
understands how individual components fit into larger systems and applies sound design principles to
build secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, APIs, and platform services
• Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, production-ready code
• Build and maintain reusable services, frameworks, libraries, templates, and developer tooling
• Develop APIs, integrations, and event-driven solutions using modern architectural patterns
• Apply system design principles including modularity, scalability, resilience, performance, and security
• Contribute to cloud-native solutions and microservice-based architectures
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment workflows
• Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and reliability best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve operational health and system reliability
Participate in code reviews and promote engineering standards, quality practices, and secure
development
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and senior developers on technical design decisions
• Contribute to internal developer platform capabilities and self-service enablement initiatives
• Use AI-assisted development tools and automation to improve engineering productivity
• Prototype new platform capabilities, reusable components, and proof-of-concept solutions
• Contribute to platform documentation, engineering recipes, and knowledge-sharing activities

About the team
Platform Engineering is responsible for the governance, architecture, standards, and enablement of core
enterprise platforms and shared technology capabilities. The team develops reusable services, frameworks,
tools, and guardrails that allow delivery teams to build consistently, securely, and at scale.

Enough about us, let's talk about you
Required Experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong full-stack development experience across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers
• Strong experience with .NET, NodeJS and Typescript
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies
• Experience delivering production-grade applications and services
• Working knowledge of system design and distributed application fundamentals
• Experience with REST APIs, asynchronous integrations, and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with software and architecture patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Experience building or consuming microservices
• Experience with Git and modern source control workflows
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and tools
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Understanding of secure software development practices
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience using AI/GenAI tools to accelerate software development workflows
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

What We're Looking For
• A reliable engineer who consistently delivers high-quality software
• Someone who can work independently within a defined scope while seeking guidance when
appropriate
• A practical problem-solver focused on outcomes and execution
• A team-oriented developer who collaborates effectively across disciplines
• A builder who balances speed, quality, and maintainability
• Someone who thinks in terms of reuse and platform leverage, not just project delivery
• An engineer who automates repetitive work and continuously improves processes
• A developer who values standards, security, operational excellence, and developer experience
• Someone who enjoys building capabilities that enable multiple teams to be successful
•A curious technologist who embraces modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled
development
