Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer for a contract opportunity with a leading banking organization in Toronto. The successful candidate will design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies while working in a regulated banking environment.
Must-Have Skills
8+ years of Full Stack Development experience
Mandatory Banking / Financial Services experience
Angular, React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
Node.js, NestJS, Express.js
GraphQL and REST API development
Microservices architecture
MongoDB and PostgreSQL
Docker, AWS, OpenShift/Cloud Foundry
CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
Agile/Scrum delivery model
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
Build modern web applications and APIs using Angular/React and Node.js technologies.
Develop and support GraphQL, REST services, and microservices.
Collaborate with business, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams.
Participate in application modernization, upgrades, and cloud deployments.
Ensure compliance with banking security and governance standards.
Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.
