Who You Will Work With:
Reporting to the Leader Cloud Operations the Cloud Operations Intern will work as part of Interacs Cloud infrastructure and engineering team tooperateenhanceand secure Interacs cloud services. As part of the Cloud Operations team this intern will work under guidance from aTechnicalLead Cloud Operations and can expect to collaborate together with technical colleagues to solve problems through innovative and creative thinking leveraging automation andtoolingtodeliverkeyoutcomesfor our Cloud an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and experience across multiple technology domains (including Enterprise Cloud Platforms DevOps Agile) andoperatein afast pacedenvironment delivering payment systems that Canadians rely on every day.

What You Will Do:

• Support the Cloud Operations team inmaintainingand improving AWS-based cloud infrastructuremonitoringsystems and operational reliability across lower and production-like environments

• Assistwith day-to-day operational activities including infrastructure monitoring incident investigation log analysis deployment validation and operational health checks for cloud-native platforms and services

• Contribute to automation and DevOps initiatives by working with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) CI/CD pipelines scripting and operational documentation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

• Collaborate with engineers SREs and platform teams to support cloud migrations platform upgrades security compliance activities and environment readiness initiatives

• Participate in operational reviews troubleshooting sessions and continuous improvement activities while gaining exposure to enterprise-scale cloud operations and reliability engineering practices

• Prepare documentation and reporting to support Cloud services and processes

• Preparing design documents for cloud deployments andmaintenance.

What You Bring:

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program in a relevant discipline like computer science or similarfield

• Familiarity with system architecture and automation

• Familiarity with scripting languages and cloud native technologies

• Working knowledge of System architecture

• Working knowledge of automation

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with scripting languages

• Familiarity with cloud nativetechnologies

• Proactive critical thinker with strong analytical and problem skills you enjoy continuously improving redundant or inefficient processes

• Comfortable troubleshooting and enjoy tackling challenging problems you oftenutilizeyour creative thinking skills tocome up withsolutions

• Comfortable with learning and working effectively either independently or with groups acrossdifferent functionsand levels

• Confidence in your ability to communicate verbally and written in a detailed and impactful way

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services (AWS) and continuous integrationdeliveryand deployment (CI/CD) tools

• Experience with implementing security in public cloud environments

• Although not you have some familiarity orpreviousexperience with the following:

• Building out cloud solutions

• Infrastructure automation

• Ansible and/or Terraform

WhatWereOffering:
The hourly pay range for this position is $23to $25 and the internship term runs fromSeptember to December 2026. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills experience and job-related knowledge. An internship opportunity atInteracalso features:
