Scope

Reporting to the Zone Manager, the Administrative Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing administrative tasks, travel logistics, and workforce coordination. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

Oversee incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, emails, and work orders, ensuring timely distribution and proper documentation.Accurately input and maintain data for time tracking, work orders, daily status reports, and expense management.Coordinate travel and accommodations for staff rotations, ensuring seamless scheduling and managing visitor logs.Maintain and replenish office supplies, oversee equipment maintenance, and coordinate transportation logistics to and from the airstrip.Provide comprehensive clerical support, including word processing, document preparation, and report generation.Operate and maintain office equipment, ensuring efficiency in daily administrative functions.

Who You Are:

Education/Certificates/Licenses: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is preferred. Valid driver's license is an asset. Experience: Minimum 2 years administrative experience, a combination of education and experience will be considered.Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Cross-Cultural Skills: Must be willing and able to work in a cross-cultural environment while supporting Nasittuq’s mission and commitment to Inuit employment.
