Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Locate Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Technicians to safely deliver high-quality utility locating services. The Locate Supervisor ensures work is completed accurately, on schedule, and in a cost-effective manner while maintaining strong customer relationships and developing a high-performing team.
The successful candidate motivates technicians, applies strong locating expertise, maintains high accuracy with minimal damages, and prioritizes safety. They communicate clearly, resolve issues quickly, coach effectively, manage workloads, deliver strong customer service, and drive continuous improvement.
This position involves frequent collaboration with all internal departments to ensure alignment across operations, training, and quality initiatives. It also requires regular interaction with customer damage prevention representatives to support safe practices, resolve inquiries, and promote strong external partnerships.
