Job description
Elevate compliance initiatives at JPMorgan Asset Management as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer in Canada. Be a pivotal leader in compliance and regulatory engagement across operations. This Vice President role engages directly with the Chief Compliance Officer to foster a robust compliance culture in the Canadian asset management business. Responsibilities include overseeing regulatory engagements, licensing, and compliance policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex compliance issues effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Lead compliance coverage in daily asset management activities • Supervise employee and firm licensing compliance • Act as liaison for regulatory inquiries and exams • Provide product compliance advisory and support • Implement monitoring and testing plans for risk assessment Requirements: • Significant compliance experience in asset management • Familiarity with Canadian securities regulations • Strong ability to communicate with senior governance stakeholders • Capacity to operate with minimal oversight • Integrity and accountability in compliance functions Spearhead compliance efforts at JPMorgan while mitigating risks and ensuring regulatory alignment across Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
