Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Diagnostic Iamging, and working as a member of the DI/Cardiorespiratory Services, the Registered EEG Technician is responsible for performing electroencephalograms and related electrophysiological activity as well as other clinical assignments.
Education
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Board of Registered EEG Technologists (CBRET)
- Member of Canadian Association of EEG Technologists (CAET) preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience preferred, along with demonstrated experience using digital EEG recordings, long-term video and portable EEG recordings
- Ability to actively trouble shoot equipment problems
- Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates a high regard for quality and attention to detail
- Demonstrates initiative to work independently with minimal supervision required
- Current CPR or BCLS certification.
- Good work and attendance record required
