Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, A340, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot blasting, and surface treatments.

The position involves working on machines equipped with robots, used to clean the surfaces of parts through sandblasting, either to remove the oxide layer produced during heat treatment before subsequent machining operations, or to prepare parts before chrome, nickel, zinc-nickel, or cadmium plating to ensure good adhesion.

The tasks are as follows:
• move parts using lifting devices
• install the part on a mounting fixture and prepare it by installing various masks or tools, according to the technical drawing
• carry out sandblasting operations by operating equipment equipped with a robot according to technical procedures
• complete the sandblasting of the part using specialized manual equipment while respecting the parameters
• inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications
• complete the appropriate quality assurance documentation
• perform daily self-maintenance of equipment
• conduct sand analyses (particle size)
• contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries

• High school diploma (equivalence certificate not accepted)
• Experience in manual work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with attention to detail and precision
• Experience with automated equipment
• Basic computer skills

• Ability to work encapsulated (full-body suit including a helmet with oxygen supply)
• Handling tools requires a certain physical strength

Night shift: from 12:10 AM to 6:40 AM.
Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, evening, or weekend)

• Compensation for this position starts between $27.85 and $37.87 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring job-related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $42.04.
• $1/hr bonus
