Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM) a member of TD Bank Financial Group is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. For over two decades the organization has established competitive market positions in active quantitative and passive portfolio management. As of December 31 2025 TDAM and its affiliates manage over $508 billion in assets on behalf of pension insurance endowment/foundation and corporate clients as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.

In attaining this client commitment TDAM has built one of Canadas largest and most respected investment management and research teams with more than 220 Portfolio Managers Associate Portfolio Managers Traders and Analysts.

The TD Asset Management Fundamental Equities team is a performance-oriented group managing long-only Canadian US International and global equityportfolios for institutional high net worth and retail clients. The team follows a disciplined investment process combining fundamental due diligence and detailed empirical/quantitative research and risk management to produce superior investment results. An opportunity exists for an Associate to join the team reporting to a Co-Lead of the Fundamental Equities Research team.

The Associate will work directly with the investment team collaborating with fundamental and quantitative analysts to support decision making by portfolio managers. Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth financial analysis on companies and industries to identify investment opportunities suitable for TDAM portfolios.
• Developing and presenting investment ideas through written reports and presentations to investment and client-facing teams.
• Owning a sector by maintaining thorough and consistent research coverage including proposing new investment ideas and recommending portfolio exits.
• Building and maintaining relationships with company management and industry counterparties to strengthen research insights and support investment decision-making.
• Attending industry conferences and seminars to gather insights and stay current on market trends.

Requirements:

• A passion towards public equity markets supported by a personal and/or professional track record of investment research market engagement or portfolio involvement.
• Ability to work independently with no supervision towards clear objectives with ambiguous waypoints.
• Exceptional analytical and modeling capabilities underpinned by intellectual curiosity and a passion for uncovering investment insights.
• Ability to work under pressure on time-sensitive and sometimes unpredictable developments.
• Comfortable managing relationships and prioritizing demanding workloads with numerous portfolio manager stakeholders.
• Ability to distill and convey complex financial and fundamental information to a generalist audience.
• We welcome applicants with 2-8 years of experience in capital markets.

Educational Requirements:

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Engineering/Finance/Mathematics/Economics/Accounting/MBA or related fields is preferred.
• CFA designation or working towards a CFA designation.
