Job description
Step into a strategic role as the Senior Privacy and Compliance Counsel at Toronto Hydro. Your expertise will drive compliance initiatives while safeguarding organizational privacy standards in a hybrid work model. This role emphasizes legal counsel on privacy matters, including freedom of information and cybersecurity governance. Collaborate with various business units to evaluate compliance risks and enhance controls. You will also conduct assessments and develop outreach programs to ensure all employees are equipped to manage compliance effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Lead FOI portfolio management and implementation • Advise on privacy impact assessments and compliance • Review legislation to identify potential compliance gaps • Drive development of training and resources • Monitor regulatory trends affecting privacy practice Requirements: • LL.B or JD with Law Society of Ontario membership • Minimum of 3 years’ privacy and compliance experience • Excellent judgment and decision-making ability • Strong project management and time management skills • Background in a regulated industry is advantageous Bring your legal expertise in privacy and compliance to Toronto Hydro, ensuring robust protection of privacy and regulatory adherence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
