The Role

As an IT/Cloud Consultant at Kyndryl, you will be re-energized with a fresh set of challenges, including working on large enterprise, fast-track infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, defining sourcing strategies, and selecting providers that align with our customers’ IT and automation strategies. You will be the trusted advisor, accountable for delivering highly complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that provide lasting and measurable value to our esteemed customers. Your expertise in prioritizing use cases, conducting ROI and business case analyses, and seamlessly incorporating security and resiliency into future state designs will shape the foundation for success.

You will strategically develop a future state vision and roadmap, revolutionizing the infrastructure and network requirements to meet the ever-evolving needs of both IT and business. You'll be the catalyst for improved performance and productivity, identifying areas where efficiency can be optimized, costs minimized, risks reduced, and performance enhanced. You will capture, prioritize, and analyze technical requirements, both functional and non-functional, ensuring that every aspect of the solution is meticulously crafted to perfection.

As an IT/Cloud Consultant at Kyndryl you will join the Kyndryl Consultant Profession, working with other Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional Technical Subject Matter Experts – presenting unlimited opportunities with unmatched support through our investment in your learning, training, and career growth.

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–10 years of experience in cloud architecture and application modernization

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (GKE), containerization, and microservices

• Experience with WebSphere, Java modernization, and cloud migration programs

• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and DevOps integration patterns

• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, Helm-based deployments, and cloud-native architectures

• Ability to lead design workshops and stakeholder engagements

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end migration strategy and execution model

• Design target GKE architecture, namespaces, and deployment patterns

• Establish standardized patterns for containerization, security, and configuration

• Define migration waves, sequencing, and dependency management

• Provide technical oversight across all migration phases

• Review and approve architecture, deployment patterns, and solutions

• Identify and mitigate architectural and technical risks

• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams for alignment
