Job description
AtkinsRéalis invites applicants for the role of Technical Director in Hydropower. Drive the engineering design for electrical systems while working in a hybrid office environment. This role is crucial for advancing major hydropower refurbishment projects in Ontario. As Technical Director, you will create design packages for medium and high voltage electrical systems, guide project delivery, and collaborate with diverse teams. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to junior engineers and support them in achieving technical excellence in their projects. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and design hydroelectric balance-of-plant electrical systems • Develop motor control and auxiliary power systems • Review technical specifications for major equipment • Oversee power system studies and report on findings • Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts in project execution Requirements: • University degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng. accreditation • Experience in electrical design for power generation • Familiarity with North American codes and utilities • Proficiency in ETAP and Microsoft Office • Strong stakeholder communication abilities Bring your electrical design skills to the forefront, enhancing hydropower projects at AtkinsRéalis in Ontario. #J-18808-Ljbffr
