Job description
Aecon is looking for a Project Director to lead major infrastructure projects in the urban transportation sector. Make an impact through collaboration and effective project delivery. You will take on a pivotal role within Aecon's Urban Transportation Solutions group, overseeing key transit initiatives in Canada. With your extensive project management background, including over two decades in the field and five years in leadership roles, you will ensure alignment with stakeholder commitments and governance models. Your expertise in managing large-scale projects will be crucial in navigating complex commercial landscapes and steering the team towards successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Manage project delivery from pursuit to closeout • Facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders at all levels • Create and implement effective governance frameworks • Ensure project performance aligns with safety and cost objectives • Promote a culture of trust, accountability, and transparency Requirements: • 20+ years of leadership experience on major projects • Experience in collaborative and multi-discipline environments • Strong capability in commercial and contractual negotiations • Proven ability to lead large teams effectively • Relevant engineering or management qualifications preferred Transform urban transportation initiatives and contribute your leadership skills at Aecon, where your expertise will drive project success. #J-18808-Ljbffr
