RQ10834 Specialized IT Consultant Senior

Responsibilities:
The main responsibility of this resource is to provide the services of an Oracle Enterprise Performance Management installation/configuration expert ideally with some exposure to installing/managing other Oracle development tools being used in these applications such as ODI and the relational database.

• Works in partnership with clients advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems work to improve structure and efficiency of an organizations I&IT systems.
  
• The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
  
• Provides subject matter expertise in their field and highly expert technical assistance.
  

General Skills:

• Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable
  
• Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
  
• Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget to the highest quality meeting or exceeding expectations
  
• Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
  
• Prepares reports and presentations including options recommendations implementation plans etc.
  
• Works with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements
  
• Defines software hardware and network requirements
  
• Analyzes I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&IT
  
• Designs tests installs and monitors new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems
  
• Familiar with change-management principles and methodology
  
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Looking for: experience with Infrastructure related roles - set up the software in operating environments stalling and configuring software properly. Not so much a developer. Also looking for ETL with a focus on ODI.
  
• Demonstrated experience installing configuring and maintaining Hyperion Planning (Oracle EPM) software stack with some experience installing Hyperion Planning 11.2 and at least three years of dedicated infrastructure experience or equivalent across a longer time period.
  
• At least five years experience developing and maintaining ETL solutions with some experience using ODI as the ETL tool. Some experience in Informatica also desirable.
  

Skill Set Requirements:

Core Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated experience installing configuring and maintaining Hyperion Planning (Oracle EPM) software stack with some experience installing Hyperion Planning 11.2 and at least three years of dedicated infrastructure experience or equivalent across a longer time period.
  
• Demonstrated experience installing and configuring EPM to work in an OAM single-sign on configuration.
  
• Demonstrated experience managing software and infrastructure components in the following environments: Linux Windows Server.
  
• Demonstrated experience installing and configuring APEX Oracle RDMS OBIEE (in particular BI Publisher).
  
• Demonstrated experience installing and configuring Word Press in a Linux load-balance environment.
  
• Demonstrated experience managing network components in a complex load-balance environment.
  
• At least five years experience developing and maintaining ETL solutions with some experience using ODI as the ETL tool. Some experience in Informatica also desirable.
  

Application-Specific Experience:

• Demonstrated experience working in a load-balanced highly available hardware and software configuration.
  
• Demonstrated experiencing supporting Planning infrastructure deployed across the internet to 1000 users supporting a variety of desktop software and browsers.
  
• Demonstrated experience configuring solutions for business-critical financial applications such as payments and funds allocation.
  
• Experience configuration technical infrastructure components for a hybrid application with components in Hyperion Planning. APEX ODI and VBA/Excel Macros.
  
• Demonstrated experience working with applications exposed to external access via a Proxy Server.
  
• Demonstrated experience designing specifying and implementing complex computing platforms.
  
• Demonstrated experience developing high quality documentation of complex infrastructure implementations.
  
• Demonstrated experience working with data centre staff to manage a complex platform extending across multiple operating systems and integrating multiple application development tools.
