In this role, you will take operational ownership of driving project timelines, mitigating cross-project dependencies, and systematically resolving systemic issues. Operating within a highly collaborative environment, you will synthesize executive expectations into clear program deliverables, align diverse cross-functional teams, and maintain rigorous project documentation to ensure initiatives progress seamlessly from inception through to close-out.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - Up to 5 days onsite, subject to hiring manager's discretion)

Duration: 12-month contract.

Advantages

Complex Scope Mastery: Deepen your project management profile by orchestrating multi-disciplinary streams across business and technical domains.

Long-Term Contract Runway: Secure a stable 12-month technical engagement with complete ownership of the project close-out lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Synchronization: Partner with multi-disciplinary subject matter experts across clinical, business, enterprise, and technical units to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive requirements.

Executive Expectation Management: Articulate high-level executive expectations and translate them into actionable project deliverables, milestones, and baseline charters.

Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify, monitor, and manage project risks, implementing systematic change controls and escalating issues appropriately to protect the critical path.

Relationship & Agreement Building: Establish and maintain successful partnerships with high-level internal and external partners, facilitating collaboration, driving consensus, and resolving team conflicts effectively.

Change Management & Communication: Develop and execute comprehensive organizational change management strategies, communication artifacts, and timely change notices.

Meeting & Lifecycle Coordination: Organize and lead critical project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations, maintaining meticulous action item logs and tracking timely follow-ups.

Reporting & Progress Telemetry: Develop professional status reports, maintain monitoring logs, and prepare executive summary decks covering timelines, project cadence, and upcoming touchpoints for leadership governance.

Qualifications
Core Project Management Seniority: Demonstrated experience leading and managing complex, multi-tiered IT or business transformation projects from inception to close-out.

Public Sector Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience navigating highly structured governance models and project environments within a Canadian public sector framework.

Stakeholder & Resource Planning: Advanced proficiency in stakeholder management, resource capacity modeling, and handling competing multi-stakeholder priorities under tight deadlines.

Methodological Delivery Literacy: Strong working knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework and structured project management lifecycles.

Complex Environment Coordination: Experience working alongside program managers in complex landscapes to maintain progress reporting, mitigate risks, and manage vendors and third-party partners.

Documentation & Analytical Synthesis: Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to produce high-quality project plans, timeline tracking matrices, and issue logs.

Communication & Collaboration Toolkit: Elite verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of running JAD-style workshops, managing cross-functional teams, and executing successful conflict resolution.

Software Tool Proficiency: Expert proficiency across standard corporate productivity suites (Microsoft Office/MS Project).

Highly Desirable Assets:
