💼 Senior Leadership | Marketing and Creative Industry

A leading integrated marketing and communications agency is seeking a Director, Brands and Strategy to help shape the future of the organization and its clients. This is a high impact leadership role for a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of brand, business growth, and innovation.

IMPORTANT - Extensive agency experience with major brands and strong client facing expertise are essential for this role

You will work closely with executive leadership and cross functional teams to define long term strategy, unlock new growth opportunities, and turn insights into action. If you love connecting data, culture, and creativity to drive real business results, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Brand & Client Strategy
    Guide corporate and business unit strategy that strengthens market position, drives growth, and improves performance across the organization.
  • Turn Insights Into Action
    Translate consumer, cultural, and market intelligence into clear strategic direction, compelling narratives, and measurable frameworks.
  • Drive Client and Business Growth
    Act as a senior strategic partner to major clients. Lead strategy for pitches, proposals, and new business opportunities.
  • Digital Marketing Strategies
    Develops and leads data driven digital marketing strategies that integrate paid, owned, and earned channels to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and measurable business results
  • Collaborate with account, creative, and delivery teams to ensure strategy fuels innovative, effective campaigns and solutions.
  • Shape Strategic Culture
    Champion curiosity, strategic thinking, and creative excellence across the agency.

What You Bring

  • 8 plus years in strategy or account planning within an advertising or marketing agency
  • Strong experience in digital strategy, brand strategy, and performance focused marketing
  • Background in consumer electronics, communications, or technology sectors is a strong asset
  • Ability to turn research and data into clear insights and visually compelling presentations
  • Confidence presenting to senior clients and influencing executive stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of multichannel marketing ecosystems
  • Strong grasp of KPIs, analytics, and insight led optimization

This role follows a hybrid model with in office collaboration several days per week, along with flexibility for remote work depending on business needs.

Targeted salary: 110K CAD to $150K - Competitive & Perm positon + Plus Bonus
