SAP FICO Specialist (Permanent)

CoreFactor is searching for an SAP FICO Specialist on a full-time/permanent basis for a client located in the GTA.

This position is hybrid and will require the successful incumbent to be in the office four (4) days per week.

Are you experienced in analyzing designing configuring and supporting SAP Finance and

Controlling (FICO) and Concur solutions Reporting to the Platform Owner Core SAP you will

collaborate with business stakeholders technical teams and external vendors to deliver

effective financial solutions that align with the organizations target state technology stack.

You will play a key role in enabling process standardization improving financial reporting and

ensuring seamless integration between SAP FICO Concur and other systems.

About the Role:

SAP FICO and Concur Solution Design and Configuration:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for
  
• SAP FICO and Concur solutions.
  
• Configure SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP)
  
• Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (AA) and Controlling (CO).
  
• Configure and support Concur solutions for expense management and travel
  
• processes.
  
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO Concur and other SAP/non-SAP
  
• systems.
  
• Develop and maintain documentation for functional designs configurations and
  
• processes.
  
• Business Process Analysis and Improvement
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial processes and identify
  
• areas for improvement.
  
• Recommend and implement best practices to optimize financial operations and
  
• reporting.
  
• Support the organizations FSM transformation program by enabling process
  
• standardization and automation.
  
• Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to address business needs.
  

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for SAP FICO and Concur
  
• solutions.
  
• Perform unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure
  
• solution quality.
  
• Identify and resolve defects during the testing phase.
  
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and are free of errors.
  

Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide functional support for SAP FICO and Concur modules including issue
  
• resolution and troubleshooting.
  
• Monitor system performance and address any issues to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Work with technical teams to resolve system integration and performance issues.
  

Continuous Learning and Innovation:

• Stay updated on the latest SAP FICO and Concur technologies and best practices.
  
• Identify opportunities to enhance the organizations financial systems and processes.
  
• Participate in training sessions workshops and knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Technology or related
  
• experience
  
• 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Analyst with expertise in FICO modules
  
• including implementation and support.
  
• Experience with Concur configuration support expense management and travel
  
• solutions.
  
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.
  
• SAP Certified (SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting and/or Management
  
• Accounting)
  
• Strong knowledge of SAP FICO modules including GL AP AR AA and CO.
  
• Experience with SAP integrations (example idocs)
  
• Experience with S/4 HANA modules including Materials Management Sales and
  
• Distribution and Transportation Management.
  
• Experience with MuleSoft or similar middleware platforms.
  
• Knowledge of SAP integration tools and technologies
  
• Experience with Agile project product methodologies.
  

Required Skills:

Extensive experience in the development and optimization of technology infrastructure to deliver integrated robust secure and modern solutions. Core technologies include Microsoft Office 365 cloud services Microsoft Teams Active Directory Windows & Linux Server Operating Systems Windows & macOS end-user platforms iOS & Android mobile platforms Veeam backups various automation & management tools as well as Aruba and Cisco networking solutions Ability to automate routine tasks (Infrastructure As Code) and constantly find efficiencies to improve solutions & services Comprehensive knowledge of internetworking services to effectively design troubleshoot integrate secure and maintain networks and overall infrastructure Strong working knowledge of best practices to secure laptops servers wired & wireless networks data management as well as network printing/scanning/copying technologies Strong analytical ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems research technical solutions and make technical recommendations that balance operational performance and risk Ability to work in a team environment provide quality customer service and exercise good judgement Excellent communication consultative coordination and interpersonal skills
