Senior Platform Reliability Engineer

As a Senior Platform Reliability Engineer you will play a critical role in building and managing scalable secure cloud-based infrastructure that supports enterprise data and application platforms. This role contributes directly to advancing modern platform capabilities by enabling reliable automated and high-performing environments. Youll work with cutting-edge cloud and DevOps technologies while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. Position Responsibilities:

• Manage and deploy production Azure cloud infrastructure ensuring optimal performance security and scalability.

• Administer and integrate Databricks environments to support data processing and analytics workloads.

• Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform for automated deployment and management.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitOps practices Jenkins and scripting for automation.

• Monitor and respond to production issues minimizing downtime and ensuring platform stability.

• Collaborate with security risk and architecture teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and guardrails.

• Manage and contribute to JIRA tasks and participate in agile ceremonies including daily and weekly standups.

• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management and deployment.

• 3 years of experience working with Databricks.

• 4 years of hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).

• 4 years of experience with GitOps Jenkins and scripting for automation.

• 2 years of experience as a Windows Administrator.

• 2 years of experience as a Linux Administrator.

• 1 years of network administration or networking experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).

• Experience with Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory.

• Strong understanding of Azure networking identity management and security controls.

• Knowledge of business continuity planning and disaster recovery implementation.

• Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies and operations.

• Experience working on data and analytics platforms.

• Strong documentation communication and knowledge-sharing skills.

Salary range is expected to be between

$113000.00 CAD - $163000.00 CAD
