Our challenge

We are looking for anInfrastructure Automation Engineerwith34 years of experiencein automation scripting and deployment engineering. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in reducing operational manual effort building automation solutions and supporting both Linux and Windows environments.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto ON is CAD $110k CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks to streamline infrastructure and deployment activities.
• Work on projects focused on eliminating manual toil and improving operational efficiency.
• Support and automateLinuxandWindowsbased deployments.
• Develop and enhance scripts usingShell scriptingandPowerShell.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to automate deployment and operational workflows.
• Assist in managing and improvingCI/CD pipelinesfor application delivery.
• Work with teams supportingJavaand.NETbased applications.

Requirements:

• 34 years of experiencein infrastructure automation and scripting.
• Strong experience withShell scriptandAnsible playbook.
• Proven experience in projects that reduced or eliminated manual operational tasks.
• Good working knowledge ofLinuxandWindowsdeployment processes.
• Hands-on knowledge ofShell scriptingandPowerShell scripting.
• Basic understanding ofJavaand.NETapplications and their deployment needs.
• Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand deployment automation.

Preferred but not required:

• Familiarity with automation frameworks and infrastructure management tools.
• Exposure to AI-enabled productivity or engineering tools likeClaudeandMythos.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
