The HR Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by performing a variety of administrative and HR-related tasks. This role assists in onboarding/offboarding digital enhancements employee record-keeping benefits administration and general employee support. The ideal candidate is organized detail-oriented and has a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes including preparing documentation conducting orientations and updating HRIS systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws.
- Support benefits administration including enrolment changes and responding to employee inquiries.
- Responsible for inputting initiating and finalizing employee record(s) updates in Workday (HRIS).
- Support Payroll processing including timely submissions of data changes.
- Support the department to in digital enhancements of systems processes and procedures.
- Support benefits administration including enrolment changes leave management and responding to employee inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team such as preparing reports drafting correspondence and organizing events.
- Respond to first level employee inquiries regarding HR policies procedures and programs.
- Help ensure compliance with labour laws occupational health and safety regulations and internal policies.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Assist in audits and compliance checks related to HR processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year(s) of experience in HR or administrative support roles.
- Knowledge of HR processes employment laws and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Workday and/or other HRIS systems.
- Proficiency in Workday an asset.
- This is an in-office position at 15 York Street Toronto Ontario.

Exactsalary depends on several factors such as experience skills education and budget.
