Job Title: Angular Developer (Banking Domain)
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer with strong front-end development skills and mandatory banking or financial services experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building responsive, secure, and high-performance web applications using Angular while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Required Experience
• 7+ years of experience in Front-End Development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (Angular 12+ preferred).
• Mandatory experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Required Skills
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RxJS, Angular Material, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of application security best practices and performance optimization.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Angular.
• Build reusable UI components and improve application performance.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, QA, and Backend Developers.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to application enhancements and new feature development.
Nice to Have
• Experience with Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of Micro Frontends.
• Experience with Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
