Job description
Join Wanasah as Executive Director and lead transformative mental health services for Black youth in Toronto. Focus on strategic leadership and community engagement. In this vital role, the Executive Director will steer Wanasah's mission to provide culturally sensitive mental health support for youth aged 12-25. You'll be instrumental in shaping strategy, managing operations, and supporting community partnerships to enhance program effectiveness. Integral to this position is ensuring financial sustainability and cultivating a robust organizational culture. Key Responsibilities: • Lead operational and strategic initiatives for Wanasah • Ensure delivery of high-quality mental health services • Build and maintain partnerships within the community • Direct fund development and grant acquisition efforts • Advocate for a trauma-informed, equity-focused workplace Requirements: • Proven leadership in mental health or youth services • Commitment to anti-racism and equity in all practices • Experience with funding strategies and grant writing • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Knowledge of Black-centered mental health perspectives Empower Black youth in Toronto through impactful mental health services with Wanasah. #J-18808-Ljbffr
